Nancy Guthrie: Savannah Guthrie received a sweet three-word message from fellow TV host amid kidnapping scandal

Kotb’s message on her Instagram Story was simple: “Take her home,” along with several praying hands emojis.

The development comes as Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance enters its seventh week, with authorities continuing to treat the case as a suspected kidnapping.

Guthrie family remains hopeful, offering emotional support

Savannah Guthrie’s family and Savannah Guthrie have received an outpouring of emotional support from the public as well as her online colleagues. Kotb, who is reporting from Savannah as host of NBC’s “Today” show, has also stepped in to support the broadcast and her colleagues during the crisis.

The family, represented by Nancy’s children Savannah, Annie and Camron and their spouses, thanked supporters and asked for more attention to the search efforts in a new statement posted online. Savannah’s Instagram On March 21, Hotb expressed her support via her Instagram Story.

“We urgently ask this community to return attention to our mother’s case – please review camera footage, diary notes, text messages, observations or conversations that may be significant in retrospect,” the statement read.

Savannah further said in the statement, “We miss our mom with every breath we take and we cannot rest until she is home. We cannot grieve; we can only be pained and curious. Our focus is simply to find her and bring her home.”

The search continues as the case remains unresolved

Savannah Guthrie has largely stepped back from television duties to focus on her family, while colleagues continue to highlight the case and keep it in the public eye.

Nancy’s family sent her to their home in Tucson, Arizona, where she was last seen on January 31st. Investigators suspected she had been abducted overnight, citing surveillance video of a masked man at Nancy’s front door.

Authorities have not announced any major breakthroughs in the investigation, but officials said they have uncovered clues to a possible motive.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos told NBC News, “We believe we know why [the kidnapper] Having done so, we believe it was targeted, but we are not 100% certain of this. I think day one, we had some strong beliefs about what was going on, and those beliefs haven’t diminished. “
