The Nancy Guthrie case is moving quickly, with surveillance footage released and a person in custody in connection with the case. The FBI is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the location of Nancy and/or the arrest of those responsible for her disappearance.

The FBI initially released surveillance photos of potential targets of the investigation. Director Kashi Patel in ” X postsWhile sharing the photos, authorities “have been working closely with our private sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may have been lost, damaged, or inaccessible due to various factors, including deletion of the recording device. The video was recovered from residual data in the back-end system.”
“As of this morning, law enforcement, working with our partners, have discovered these new, previously inaccessible images showing an armed man who appears to have tampered with Nancy Guthrie’s front door camera on the morning she disappeared,” Patel added.

The black-and-white photos and footage show a man wearing gloves, a mask, khakis, sneakers and a backpack who appears to be fiddling with a camera at Guthrie’s front door on the morning of Guthrie’s disappearance. One of the videos shows the man walking to the door with his head lowered. The person’s eyes are visible through the holes in the mask.
