Nancy Guthrie was reported missing by her family on February 1st. Authorities believe she was taken the night before from her home in the Catalina Foothills near Tucson, Arizona. A month passed and she still hadn’t been found. Amid this, public interest in Guthrie’s daughter continued, Anneand son-in-law Tommaso Scioni.
Guthrie, 84, is believed to have dined with Anne on the night she was taken. After dinner, Sione reportedly dropped her off at home, close to where they lived. That made them among the last people to see Guthrie before she was taken away. Initially, former NewsNation reporter Ashley Banfield suggested that Cione was a possible suspect, sparking interest in the pair. Since then, however, her claims have been withdrawn, and the Pima County Sheriff, Chris Nanoshas stated that there are no suspects among the family members.
Amid the ongoing focus on Anne and Sione, an old book by Guthrie’s daughter has surfaced, sparking a debate online. It’s titled “Dear Missing” read out Created by Anne in 2015. It was written while she was at the Poetry Center at the University of Arizona. Anne said the poems came from “the chorus, the middle section.”
The reading seems to indicate that the text material is about someone missing another person and dealing with that feeling.

Meanwhile, Today show host Savannah Guthrie, Anne’s sister and daughter of the missing octogenarian, has reportedly decided to speak out in support of her brother-in-law, Tommaso Cioni.
Megyn Kelly says Savannah is outraged by reports claiming Sioney is suspect, according to Radar online. Kelly said on her SiriusXM show, “I can’t confirm that the Guthrie family wants to sue Ashley Banfield, but I have confirmed that Savannah is outraged by this report and has absolutely no suspicion of her or her brother-in-law. Can you blame her?”
On the March 12 episode, she added, “I mean, of course she loves her sister. I’m sure she loves her brother-in-law, and I’m sure she really doesn’t believe they had anything to do with this.”
