My heart is heavy with their pain. So, from the bottom of my heart, I have made a resolve – a resolve to make West Bengal develop and prosper,” he added.“Despite extreme non-cooperation and hostility of the state government, 50 million people in West Bengal today have access to the banking system through the Jan-Dhan Yojana. Under the Swachh Bharat Mission, we have constructed 85 lakh toilets in the state. While the ruling party deprived the poor of their basic livelihood, we extended a helping hand to small traders and entrepreneurs through loans worth Rs 282 crore. Through Atal Pension Yojana, we have helped 5.6 million senior citizens achieve financial security in old age. Under Ujjwala Yojana, we have provided cooking gas connections to over 10 million households, freeing mothers and sisters from the misery of smoky kitchens. At a time when food providers are struggling to survive, we consider ourselves lucky to be able to directly support over 5.2 million farmers through the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme,” the letter further reads.if bjp After taking power in West Bengal, Prime Minister Modi claimed to build a country where women feel safe, young people do not have to leave home to work, and Bengali culture regains its glory.“I make a sincere appeal to the people of West Bengal: join this journey of development. I eagerly await the opportunity to serve you – an opportunity to build a nation that, in the words of Gurudev, has a “heart without fear and a head held high.” A West Bengal free from corruption and tyranny,” the letter said.“In West Bengal, women feel safe, young people do not need to leave home to work and Bengali culture regains its glory. Our refugee brothers and sisters, victims of religious persecution will get citizenship through CAA and a governance free of illegal infiltration will be established,” he added.
