However, no stories were posted in the comments below. The earliest rumors may have been on February 26th. The post was followed by a link to the website top.topnewssource.com, which recounted Ditka’s health issues. However, the site does not appear to be an established news source, so this information must be treated with corresponding caution.
The posts were later shared online, likely sparking rumors.
Despite these social media posts, Mike Ditka appears to be alive and well. No mainstream media reported his death. There has also been no statement from his family, representatives or the Chicago Bears. The NFL has not made any comment on the matter.
