New Delhi: BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya on Wednesday launched a scathing attack on the Indian government. Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjeemocking her party’s alleged corruption and cash-for-services politics ahead of the parliamentary elections with “#PAY2TMC” and “Tolabazi”.In a post onHe further claimed that the wall posters in Kolkata reflected public anger against the ruling party, claiming that slogans such as “Ration Hok Ba Chakri…Scan Korun” exposed the “true nature” of the TMC government.
“The walls of Calcutta echo the absolute disgust of the masses. The poster, which reads “Ration Hok Ba Chakri…Scan Korun”, exposes the true DNA of the TMC government that every fundamental right comes with a “cheap” price tag,” he wrote. Malviya widened his attack, alleging widespread corruption in what he called “TMC’s decade of plunder” and alleging irregularities in the recruitment and public distribution systems. Citing the school service commission recruitment process and the public distribution system as examples, he claimed that merit and ration benefits were “siphoned off” through a network of corruption.He also said the situation reflected strong public anger in West Bengal and claimed there was “something ominous” about the situation and that the state’s youth and poor had been “hoodwinked” for years.Escalating his attack on the ruling party further, Malviya said: “The countdown to the end of this corrupt, extortionist regime starts its first phase tomorrow. Press the button and quit the TMC permanently!”West Bengal will go to polls in two phases, with voting taking place on April 23 and April 29.
