Kristi Noem shocked after husband Byron Noem was revealed to be a cross-dresser who chatted online with fetish model

Kristi Noem’s husband Byron Noem has been revealed to be a cross-dresser who paid online fetish models to talk dirty.

As if Kristi Noem’s removal as secretary of the Department of Homeland Security wasn’t enough, she’s now facing a huge scandal involving her husband, Byron Noem. Until a few weeks ago, Byron was the cuckold husband of Kristi Noem’s alleged affair with Corey Lewandowski, which was an open secret in the government. But now the Daily Mail has published an investigative report, complete with photos and messages, revealing Byron Noem was a secret cross-dresser who paid fetish models online. Even more shocking are reports that Byron bragged about his wife in those online chats. The report also published a photo of Byron wearing fake breasts and pink hot pants. The Daily Mail reviewed hundreds of messages in which Byron admitted his desire for “big, huge, ridiculous boobs”. Byron did not deny explicit chats with the model or cross-dressing, but he said he did not make inappropriate comments about Kristi Noem. “Yeah, I didn’t make that comment that would lead to that,” Bryan responded. A spokesperson for Kristi Noem told the Daily Mail she was shocked by the news. “The family is blindsided by this. They ask for privacy and prayers at this time.”

Who is insurance tycoon Byron Noem?

Byron Noem is a businessman, insurance mogul, father of three, and high school sweetheart of Kristi Noem. Christie and Brian Noem met in high school and married in 1992. They have daughters Kassidy, 31, Kennedy, 29, and son Booker, 23. Byron stood by his wife when she faced questions about her tenure at DHS and an alleged extramarital affair.

Daily Mail investigation into Byron Noem’s secret life

The investigation was led by Ben Ashford and Josh Boswell, who verified whether the photos they received were fake or artificially generated. But they claim experts have ruled out this possibility. Metadata for the photos shows they were taken in early 2025 with an iPhone set to Central Time, which coincides with Byron’s location in South Dakota. In his clandestine pursuits, Byron often used the pseudonym “Jason Jackson.” “Jason Jackson’s” PayPal account sent the woman regular deposits, usually between $500 and $1,000. The Daily Mail tracked down the woman and confirmed that “Jason Jackson” told her he had a wife and a family. He also said he loved his wife. One woman told the Daily Mail she had called Jason on her pocket phone and the voicemail in her mailbox read: “Norm Insurance, please leave a message.”
