Harris Jr., who often expresses pro-Trump sentiments, wrote on the Elon Musk-owned platform that Hoyle had previously communicated with Crooks.

“Newly released FBI records obtained by Judicial Watch show that Deputy Sheriff Kinley Hoyle had two email exchanges with Thomas Matthew Crooks prior to the July 13, 2024 assassination of President Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania. According to the report, an FBI electronic communication showed the Butler County Sheriff’s Office exchanged two emails with Thomas Matthew Crooks before the July 13, 2024, assassination attempt.
