New Delhi: A 28-year-old woman was killed by her husband by slitting her throat in the middle of the road following a domestic dispute in Karnataka’s Kalaburagi district on Thursday, police said. As bystanders captured the crime, multiple identical videos were shared on social media. The victim’s name is Saanvi, a native of Maharashtra. The incident took place near Baluji village in Afzalpur taluk, news agency PTI reported.According to police, the accused Akshay drove his wife to the spot, forcibly dragged her to the road and attacked her. She died at the scene.Video of the incident recorded by a bystander and circulated on social media allegedly shows the man carrying out the attack in public. He was seen pulling her hair and beating her mercilessly.The accused fled the scene in the same vehicle.A case of murder has been registered at Afzalpur police station and a manhunt has been launched to trace and arrest the accused, officials said.
