Perhaps he took Ambien or codeine cough syrup to treat a persistent cough while flying home from Europe and felt the side effects“Jo lost himself in that debate,” Gill wrote in her memoir. “He lost his essence. Stand up.” She even remembers writing him notes about foreign policy, such as “The Internet must stop” or “Stand strong and don’t let the Barisan Nasional take advantage of your kindness,” referring to Benjamin Netanyahu.
