Rita Braver claimed this in a new interview with CBS News ahead of the release of her memoir, “Views from the East Wing,” much to Braver’s surprise. “Who are you?” the brave man asked. “The excitement about her and the crowd, I mean, how people rallied around her, I really felt like she was going to win,” Jill Biden said. “I was shocked that she didn’t win because I thought she would have been a good president.”Jill Biden and Kamala Harris have never been good friends.In a memoir to be released tomorrow (June 2), Jill Biden writes that she knew something was wrong when she saw Joe Biden struggling during the presidential debate. “Is this a stroke?” In June 2024, Jill was watching TV in a lounge near the CNN studios where President Biden was confronting Donald Trump when she felt something strange. “It feels like we’re watching an AI hologram of someone we know, but the hologram is glitchy. Was he drugged? Jill wrote that she never knew what happened that night. Perhaps he took Ambien or codeine cough syrup to treat a persistent cough while flying home from Europe and felt the side effects“Jo lost himself in that debate,” Gill wrote in her memoir. “He lost his essence. He didn’t speak from his heart. His opponents lied more than a hundred times, but it doesn’t matter.”Joe Biden also realizes the disaster he has caused. As they left the set that night, Joe Biden whispered, “I really screwed up, didn’t I?” “Yeah, you did,” Jill said.Gill noted that she would leave inspirational or outspoken messages for her husband during his time as president, including “You are my hero” and “Stand up, champion. Stand up.” She even remembers writing him notes about foreign policy, such as “The Internet must stop” or “Stand strong and don’t let the Barisan Nasional take advantage of your kindness,” referring to Benjamin Netanyahu.
