Atlanta, Georgia rapper JaYy Wick was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of murdering a teenager in Bay County. Floridahours before the nightclub show on April 25.
Wick, whose real name is Donald Anderson, was identified as a suspect and taken into custody by the Bay County Sheriff’s Office. “We will not tolerate this kind of violence in Bay County,” Sheriff Tommy Ford was quoted as saying in the post. “No matter who you are, no matter where you are. If you come to Bay County and commit these crimes, we will find you and hold you accountable.”
Rapper JaYy Wick is a rising Southern hip-hop artist who rose to fame with the hit song “Pork Chop Sammich.” He sarcastically described himself as a white rapper from the South: an incident that has become a focal point of media coverage of Wick.

His song “Pork Chop Sammich” was released on November 14, 2025, and became an instant hit, leading to a record deal. In a subsequent interview he gave, he recounted living in a trailer park until just days before signing.
