Some Amazon users have reported issues with the shopping platform. According to DownDetector, reports began to appear around 7:30 pm ET on Thursday. Most users said they were unable to add items to their shopping carts, with the product listing showing “unavailable.” As of 8 p.m. ET, Lower detector More than 2,500 reports of outages have been logged. Amazon has not yet responded to the issue.
One user complained on DownDetector: “After adding items to my cart, when I go to checkout, it says the items are no longer available. I go to select other items that are similar to what I want, then go back to checkout and find the same items…the items are no longer available. I can’t complete any purchases.”
Another added, “Can’t add anything to my cart. Tells me all items are no longer available. Remove items from my cart and send to save for later or delete completely. Can’t shop or checkout. No matter what I search, everything shows up as unavailable. Very frustrating.”
A third person reported: “The cart is full. When I tried to checkout, most of the items in the cart were removed and now most items say they are out of stock.”
Another user wrote: “All items in my cart are showing as unavailable? More than 33 items.”
Another user complained: “Most of my shopping cart prices have weirdly gone up from $9.99 to $49.99 and are currently out of stock. This is the worst time to shop.”
