Internet Fixes White House’s ‘Treatment’ List for ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’

Donald TrumpAt a recent Oval Office event about new maternal health initiatives, there was talk of “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” The White House later shared a post listing “treatments” for people “suffering from the syndrome.” However, the tweet failed to impress most social media users, who took it upon themselves to share an edited version of the “list” with hilarious results.

“They have severe Trump Derangement Syndrome, which is actually a disease. I’ve heard it’s actually a disease. It’s an honor,” Donald Trump said during the event, shared by Margot Martin, special assistant to the president and communications adviser video moment on X.

The White House responded to the post on Twitter, “Sending to those in need.” The organization shared an image with a prescription template.

Among the “cures” listed were: “Trust Trump,” “Listen to the national anthem,” “Limit fake news,” and “Don’t panic.”

The post quickly went viral, prompting a variety of comments on social media, many of which modified the “prescription.”

This is what an X user shared:

The post prompted further comments. One

A third commented, “Why is the diagnosis in the patient information section? You can’t even express it properly.” A fourth said, “We asked to see Epstein’s dossier and Trump issued this stupid prescription to cover up his past. No thank you.”

What is “Trump Derangement Syndrome”?

This is a false condition created by MAGA Alliance media figures. Interestingly, however, controversy arose in 2025 when Minnesota Senate Republicans attempted to introduce a new bill that would classify Trump Derangement Syndrome as a mental illness.

The bill defines Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) as “an episode of paranoia in a normal person in response to the policies and presidency of Donald J. Trump, characterized by symptoms such as intense verbal hostility toward Trump and potentially aggressive behavior toward Trump supporters.”
