Indian PM says India is determined to defeat terrorism, lists Operation Sindoor as ‘DP’

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said India remains as determined as ever to defeat terrorism and destroy its conducive ecosystem while changing the display picture (DP) on social media to operation sindor as a mark of respect to the armed forces on the first anniversary of the country’s robust military response to the Pahalgam terror attack.“A year ago, our armed forces displayed unparalleled courage, precision and determination in Operation Sindoor. They gave a befitting response to those who dared to attack innocent Indians in Pahalgam,” PM Modi said.

To show respect for our troops and their successes in Operation Sindo, let us change the display picture on social media such as X, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp to the one shared below.Responding to Modi’s call, government ministers and members of the ruling coalition, as well as many social media users, changed their DPs to the official symbol of the operation, featuring the national flag. The anniversary of the operation drew widespread praise from the armed forces.federal interior minister Amit Shah Calling this “India’s epoch-making mission”. “History will remember this day for the precision strike power of our armed forces, the meticulous intelligence of our agencies and the unwavering political will to come together to destroy every terrorist attack that crosses the border and casts an evil shadow on the citizens of Pahalgam,” he said.minister of defense Rajnath Singh “Operation Sindoor is a powerful symbol of national resolve and preparedness, demonstrating that our armed forces stand ready to take decisive action when it matters most. It is also a testament to India’s steady progress towards achieving its ‘Atmanirbharta’ objectives and building capabilities while building resilience,” said the statement.
