India finished second in the Super 8 group while England topped the group by winning all three matches. Therefore, if India is completely eliminated from the semi-finals against England, England will advance to the final.In the other semi-final, South Africa defeated New Zealand in the group stage. Therefore, if this match is abandoned, South Africa will advance to the final. The final is scheduled to be held in Ahmedabad on March 8, with March 9 being a reserved day.
