New Delhi: delhi high court Disciplinary proceedings have been resumed against Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer Sameer Wankhede, who was punished for drugs seized in a 2021 case, invalidating relief from the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT).The 2008-batch police officer came to limelight for allegedly threatening to implicate actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan in the Cordelia cruise ship drug bust case in 2021 during his posting at the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Mumbai. In an order last week, the High Court bench of Justices Anil Kshetarpal and Amit Mahajan allowed continuation of disciplinary proceedings against Wankhede, allowing the Center to contest the CAT order which had quashed the action.
