HC: Posts linking Mantry’s daughter to Epstein to be removed within 24 hours

delhi high court Order to delete social media content related to Union ministers on Tuesday Hardeep Singh PuriHimayani Puri, daughter of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein Within 24 hours.In an interim order, Justice Mini Pushkarna noted that Himayani’s case was “prima facie” in her favor and that if the content was not removed, “irreparable harm” would be caused to her. The court announced the matter in August.The HC also restricted users from posting or disseminating such content on social media and said that if users do not delete posts, relevant platforms should delete or block access to such content.Mahesh Jethmalani, Himayani’s senior lawyer, called the accusations “a figment of the imagination” and said it was a “well-planned attack” motivated by “personal and political malice.” He claimed that even “self-proclaimed journalists” had shared defamatory content.
