The article described Owens as “the victim of an alleged hate crime in which the mayor’s son was a suspect” and said she was arrested after “sending threatening messages from Facebook.”
“Stamford Police Officer Joseph Kennedy said Owens allegedly sent a digital message to another person’s account threatening physical harm,” the article reads.
The article was headlined “Alleged Hate Crime Victim Arrested on Harassment Charges.”
According to CTPost and News-Times reports in 2007, Owens was charged with second-degree harassment and second-degree menacing. However, court records do not show a conviction. HT.com has not independently verified this information.
Loomer and Candace have been feuding on X for days – a feud that started over doxing. Loomer She lashed out at Owens after he accused Trump allies of doxxing her personal car. Loomer called Owens a “pathological liar” and demanded accountability. Loomer lost her cool after Owens accused her of “using her fiancé to hack user data in order to track her opponents,” noting that this was criminal conduct.

“Candace, you are a pathological liar. Your car information is publicly available online through your trust and your husband’s own arrest record. VIN numbers are publicly traced to every other vehicle you own. Both you and your husband’s depravity are public and all information I post about you is public!” Loomer wrote on X.

Loomer added: “You are a malicious liar and you will be held accountable in court.”
