“Deputy involved in major collision near Sierra College and Douglas – avoid the entire area now!” one local group release on Facebook.
Now, the Placer County Sheriff’s Office has responded to the situation, providing an update.

One person shared an update, saying, “My husband works there, just saying they are still on lockdown.” Another added, “Listed on the scanner radio app. The kids are safe. There is no activity at the moment except police on campus.”
