“This illegal immigrant from Haiti savagely murdered an innocent woman by hitting her multiple times in the head with a hammer,” the post read. “The Biden administration released him into our country. Not only did they release this heinous murderer into our community, they also granted him temporary protected status.”

The Fort Myers Police Department (FMPD) responded to an emergency on April 3 at a local gas station. According to the Department of Homeland Security, “Surveillance video shows Joachim smashing the victim’s car windshield, approaching her, and hitting her in the head multiple times with a hammer, violently killing her in broad daylight.”

Shocking CCTV footage of the attack has emerged on social media.

Joachim was charged with second-degree murder and criminal damage to property, according to Lee County Sheriff’s Office jail records. ICE has taken Joachim into custody. Regardless of the outcome of the case, he will be deported.

“This illegal immigrant savagely struck this woman in the head multiple times with a hammer. This heinous murderer was released into the country by the Biden administration. The Biden administration not only released him into the country but granted him Temporary Protected Status. Their reckless immigration policies cost this woman her life,” said Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Biss. “The arrest of this criminal is an example of how ICE and local authorities work together to quickly bring criminals to justice and make our communities safer.”
