After consultation with another on-field umpire, it was determined that the condition of the ball had been altered.The match referee is expected to hold another hearing within the next 48 hours before making a ruling.The umpire awarded Lahore Qalandar a five-point penalty for changing the condition of the ball and later substituted him. This left Karachi Kings needing nine points in the final over and they managed to tie the score.All-rounder Abbas Afridi sealed the victory by hitting Rauf for four and a six after the bowler bowled one.If the match referee confirms the infringement, Fakhar – and possibly the Lahore Qalandars – could face stiff penalties.
