The image caused misunderstandings on the Internet. Many users believe it depicts a real debate at a government meeting.

The viral image has been widely shared with a caption suggesting Trump was “red-faced and yelling” at Hegseth over military plans or leaked intelligence.
A user named Quadcarl shared the message and humorously asked, “Why is Trump yelling at Pete Hegseth?” before giving a hilarious response to Mar-a-Lago’s minibar drinks.
However, there is no credible evidence from mainstream news organizations or official statements that such a moment actually occurred.

Some X users questioned the authenticity of the image and asked Grok to verify it.
Grok informed users that the image did not correspond to any actual events. It said similar situations in earlier or altered photos had been shared before. Gronk also confirmed that there are no credible sources claiming Trump yelled at Hegseth.
Additionally, it said Trump recently praised Hergseth’s briefing on U.S. policy toward Iran.
Grok clarified that this was a satirical image generated by artificial intelligence. Gronk also noted that inconsistencies in the lighting, background, and overall composition of an image are often associated with manipulated or AI-generated content.
