New Delhi: The Thames Internet Half Marathon transformed the streets of the capital into a place of energy and determination, with runners of all ages pushing their limits and embracing fitness with a common goal. Shivpratap Prajapati, 34, won with an impressive chip time of 32 minutes and 01 seconds. He has been running for 10 years, initially with fitness as his main motivation, but later became more interested after participating in school competitions. While he was initially preparing to enlist in the Army, lockdown changed his path and made him pursue running more seriously. He is now training to represent India in the 2028 Commonwealth Games.Shubham Kumar finished second with a chip time of 32 minutes and 34 seconds. Kumar maintained a steady pace throughout, staying close to the leaders and delivering a strong and competitive performance.The third runner-up was 31-year-old Anil Jindal, whose chip time was 34 minutes and 50 seconds. Jindal is an Army professional who has been running for eight years, focusing on long-distance running and has been actively participating in marathons. He recently ran the Boston Marathon and plans to complete marathons around the world.In the Times Internet Half Marathon, such a performance reflects both ambition and discipline.
