Vice President J.D. Vance attended the event and spoke to a large crowd at Akinsford Stadium, not far from the University of Georgia campus.
The event is another tribute to the late TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk. According to Fox 5 Atlanta, Vance said that while Erica was originally planned to star, she had to skip due to “very serious threats.”
“Regarding the threats against Erica Kirk that prevented her from attending today’s event with Vice President Vance, a TPUSA official told me that their security services had been monitoring the situation in the days leading up to today’s event,” O’lohan wrote. “It is my understanding that her travel locations were being doxed and attempts were made to track her arrivals and departures, and that there were multiple direct threats against Erica. This ultimately led to her security assessment that they were unable to keep her safe.”

“The event venue itself was fine, especially once the VP arrived on site, but it was the travel part that was of greatest concern,” the official told The Telegraph. “Her children are far from being orphaned, so we take the security services’ assessment and advice seriously.”
Erica explains why she was absent from the event X posts, writing“I’m very much looking forward to tonight’s event at @universityofga with our Vice President @JDVance, but after everything our family has been through, I take my safety team’s advice very seriously. Thank you to our amazing Georgia chapter for your support. God bless you all!”
