Investigators previously asked residents in Nancy’s neighborhood if they noticed any interruptions in their internet connection the night she disappeared. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department and FBI reportedly went door-to-door asking residents if they noticed their internet connections.

Nanos also said the investigation is “constantly expanding.” “As far as leads, jobs and getting out there, I would say, yes, it’s growing,” the chief said.

Nanos previously said the Guthrie family “has been nothing but cooperative and gracious and they are the victims in this case,” adding, “To suggest otherwise is not only wrong, it is cruel. The Guthrie family are victims, plain and simple.”
