New Delhi: A 32-year-old man in Delhi died after falling into an open drain. According to ANI reports, the man fell into a manhole near Mahashakti Kali Temple in Rohini Sector 32 on Tuesday night.The incident occurred in Begampur district, where residents alerted emergency services after the man slipped into an uncovered drain. At around 7:45 pm, the Delhi Fire Department received a call and the rescue team rushed to the spot.Despite ongoing rescue efforts, the man was pronounced dead, officials said. His identity has not been officially released.Days earlier, on February 6, a 25-year-old motorcyclist, Kamal Dhyani, died after falling into a 15-foot-deep pit in west Delhi’s Janakpuri area, sparking fresh concerns about open drains and unattended excavation work across the city.Local authorities said the area had been cordoned off and further action would be taken as the circumstances leading to the fall were investigated.
