Dallas: Saw a shooting star in the Texas night sky? Video emerges after ‘explosion’ in Cleveland, Ohio

“An unidentified object captured in the sky near Dallas appears to explode or burn before reaching the ground,” one person wrote, sharing a video of a car spotting the object in the sky on the road. Luminous objects can be seen streaking across the sky.

HT.com was unable to independently verify the authenticity of the video.

Dallas video sparks reaction online

Several people reacted to the video of the object in the sky over Dallas. “Wow, the sky near Dallas lit up like crazy with that light! Confused about the object’s nature, many people turned to Grok for answers. Artificial Intelligence Chatbot Replied “Someone posted this video while driving in Dallas about an hour ago. It shows a bright orange streak moving across the dark sky, with some shaky “up and down” and excited comments coming from the car camera. There are no official meteor reports or news coverage of tonight’s incident in Dallas – the most recent bolide was seen elsewhere in Texas/Los Angeles earlier this month. Could be a small meteor, aircraft lights, or something in general. Small meteors happen every day, but no widespread reports.”

Reports of the Dallas incident follow reports from People in Cleveland. Ohio claimed to have heard an “explosion,” which NASA confirmed was a meteor explosion. The meteor shattered over Valley City before impacting Medina County, according to NASA. The space agency said the meteor originated from an asteroid that broke into several meteorites over Ohio and Pennsylvania before impacting and falling into Medina County, Ohio.
