CPRG to host multiple events at India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi; Focus on AI in education, employment and data governance | India News

As part of its Social Futures initiative, the Center for Policy Research and Governance (CPRG) will organize a series of key summit events and official dialogues during the India AI Impact Summit 2026, scheduled to be held from February 16 to 20 at multiple venues in New Delhi. The conference will focus on the impact of AI on education, employability, data governance and institutional transformation.On February 16, CPRG will host two sessions at the Bharat Mandapam: The Future of Employability in the Age of Artificial Intelligence, organized by AI4India, and Artificial Intelligence Education: Universities and Schools for the Future. On February 17, PadhAI Conclave 2.0: Reimagining the Indian Education System will be held at Gulmohar Hall, India Habitat Centre. “Data for Development: Building Artificial Intelligence in the Global South” will be held at the Bharat Mandapam on February 18 and the final session “Reimagining Education in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” will be held on February 20 at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan.

CPRG Director Dr. Ramanand said before the summit: “This summit comes at an important moment. The discussion around AI is no longer limited to panel discussions and reports. It is already reflected in the way institutions operate.” He added, “The task now is to look at how these steps are developed and the framework to guide them forward. Through our participation during the summit week, CPRG will put these issues at the center of the discussion.”Participants include senior ministers, policymakers, international experts and industry leaders. These include Shri Jitin Prasada, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry and Electronics and Information Technology, Shri Ashish Sood, Minister of Education, Delhi, Shri Nishikant Dubey, MP, Ms. Anne Neuberger, former Deputy National Security Adviser of the United States; Mr. John Harvard, Tony Blair Institute; and Dr. R. Balasubramaniam, Capacity Building Council.Industry representatives include Shri Sanjeev Bikhchandani, founder, Info Edge, and Shri Gokul Subramaniam, president, Intel India.
