Looking for an 84-year-old man Nancy Guthriekidnapped from her home in Tucson, Arizona Returning home in the early hours of February 1, the investigation continues as investigators continue to pursue leads. With no breakthrough yet, attention is focused on whether the newly announced $1 million in family incentives can help solve the problem.
According to the American Mirror, the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department is leading the investigation into Nancy’s disappearance. Despite multiple leads, authorities have not been able to find her whereabouts.
Callahan Walsh, co-host of “America’s Most Wanted,” told Fox News Digital that a hefty reward could be a key motivating factor.
“This money can be life-changing,” said Walsh. “It does cause people to second guess why they were not truthful about what they knew, which may be why they ended up providing information that the family desperately needed and law enforcement desperately needed.”
He added that the information “could not only aid Nancy’s recovery but also assist in the arrest of the suspect.”
Walsh’s brother, Adam Walsh, was abducted and later murdered in 1981: a case that led to sweeping changes in the way missing children’s cases were handled.
Nancy’s daughter, Savannah Guthrie, announced the $1 million reward in a social media video and said the money can be paid in cash and tips can be submitted anonymously. She clarified that the family reward “will only be paid upon Nancy Guthrie’s recovery, consistent with the FBI’s payment standards.”
The family’s offer is unrelated to the FBI’s $100,000 reward for information leading to Nancy’s whereabouts and/or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved.

Savannah also pledged $500,000 to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and said her family hopes the attention to her mother’s case will help other families facing similar uncertainty.
As the search continues, authorities continue to urge anyone with information to contact law enforcement.
