Congress MP Sukhdeo Bhagat slams PM Modi for ‘one-way’ speech on West Asia conflict

New Delhi: Congress MP Sukhdeo Bhagat on Tuesday criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his recent speech in Parliament on the ongoing middle East Clash, saying the speech lacked room for discussion and was a “one-way communication.” Speaking to ANI, Bhagat said, “Yesterday’s speech came in the wake of Rahul Gandhi’s program in Gujarat. We wanted to have a healthy discussion on security, energy and fuel issues. We wanted us, the representatives of different parts of the country, to get an opportunity to raise inquiries and suggestions on the current situation. But the Prime Minister just kept all his views in a one-dimensional manner, like Rahul Gandhi said ‘Mann Ki Baat’.”
