Dalton Eatherly, better known online as ChudTheBuilder, remains in jail after a Tennessee judge refused to lower his $1 million bail during a June 3 court hearing. The decision comes after YouTuber Alex Rosen appeared in court and offered to donate to Eisely’s release while he remains behind bars. Iserley, 28, appeared in Montgomery County Circuit Court in Clarksville to face serious charges in connection with the May 13 shooting outside the Montgomery County Courthouse. He was charged with attempted murder, use of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon. His lawyer, Jacob Fendley, asked the court to reduce bail, citing Etherley’s strong ties to the community and having not been convicted of any crime. Iserley’s father also attended the hearing and was able to speak on his behalf. Despite those arguments, Judge William Goodman III ruled that bond remain at $1 million. The judge also said that if Isely is released, he must serve a curfew from 9 p.m. until 5 am

Alex Rosen bids $100,000 on Dalton Eatherly bond, Judge William Goodman III leaves restrictions in place

During the hearing, Alex Rosen, known for his Predators Poachers platform, took the stand and presented bank records and CashApp documents to the court. Rosen said he makes money live streaming and calls himself a supporter of free speech.Rosen told the court he was willing to post $100,000 for Etherly’s bail. Judge Goodman, however, left the existing restrictions in place. Under these rules, each surety company can only guarantee a maximum of $100,000. That means Eaterly may need multiple guarantee companies to reach the full $1 million needed for the offering. The judge also questioned the proposed arrangement involving LA Bonding and the surety company. Goodman said it’s unclear whether the transfer of funds will increase the surety company’s capacity. He decided not to change the restrictions because of those concerns. At one point, the judge spoke directly about Rosen’s involvement, saying, “I’m not going to let him get into the bonding business.”The court also discussed where Etherly will live upon his release. Findlay asked that the address be kept secret and said Iserley could be at risk of deportation because of the attention the case has drawn.Separately, Iserley’s attorney appeared in Davidson County Court that day for another case. According to an arrest affidavit cited by WSMV, Iserley is accused of ordering nearly $400 worth of food and drinks at Bob’s Steak and Chop House restaurant in Nashville but refusing to pay after being asked to stop live streaming and leave. He faces charges of theft under $1,000, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Etherly did not attend the hearing because he remains in Montgomery County custody. The courthouse shooting centered on a May 13 confrontation between Isserly and Joshua Fox outside the Montgomery County Courthouse. Authorities said both men suffered gunshot wounds during the incident. Foxx was reportedly shot in the torso and arm and was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for surgery.
