ChudTheBuilder Shooting: Streamer detained over Clarksville ‘racism’ controversy; last viral post about ‘skin color’

It’s worth noting that ChudTheBuilder has often courted controversy for using racial slurs during his live streams.

However, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said in an update that the scene is now safe and there is no public danger, and provided details about the cause or circumstances of the fight. The Sheriff’s Office noted that both men were injured and were being treated.

The arrest sparked controversy because the anchor was arrested days earlier on charges of theft of service after failing to pay his bill after dining at a Nashville restaurant. He later wrote in an X post that he spent more than 13 hours in FBI custody, which involved more than two hours of interactions.
