Connor Colquhoun, better known as CDawgVA, completed the 2026 Bikeathon after another long and arduous ride across Japan. This year’s event generated nearly $1.5 million for the Immune Deficiency Foundation. By the time he crossed the finish line, donations had reached approximately $1,470,000, making it once again one of the largest charity streams on Twitch. The goal of this campaign is simple yet powerful. The money will be used to help patients with primary immune deficiencies. Over time, this riding activity has grown into something more than just cycling. This has become an annual time for the online community to come together and give back in a big way.

Connor Colquhoun Makes Cyclethon One of Twitch’s Biggest Charity Events

This year’s bike marathon lasted 15 days. Connor livestreamed his journey while cycling through different regions of Japan. He is not alone. He was once again joined by familiar faces such as Chris Broad, as well as several guests who showed up at different stages of the ride. What’s special about this event is that it continues to grow every year. The inaugural 2022 bike-a-thon raised more than $300,000. A year later, its price topped $550,000. Then keep climbing. In 2025, the fourth edition will generate over $1 million in revenue. Now, through Cyclethon 5, Connor has pushed total fundraising across all events to over $5 million. There are also personal reasons behind this endeavor. Connor’s close friend Iron Rat suffers from an immune disease. Her story was instrumental in shaping this fundraiser and focusing it on real impact. The timing of this ending makes things even more interesting. That same weekend, the Sidemen Charity Game also raised more than $8 million for charity. This means two major creator-driven fundraising campaigns are happening at the same time, which shows how influential online communities are now in helping others.Connor kept it simple when talking to viewers during his final live broadcast. “This is something we build together every year and it gets bigger and bigger because of all of you,” he said.
