New Delhi: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Saturday launched a blistering attack on the Congress party and the Congress. Rahul Gandhiaccusing them of acting as “BJP’s B-team”.Speaking to PTI, Vijayan said: “Some people don’t learn something even if they see or experience something. They are not normal people. This is a rare phenomenon. This is what happens to people who generally have trouble grasping things. Rahul Gandhi falls into this category. “He referred to Rahul Gandhi’s allegations against former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in connection with the GST policy case and pointed out that the courts dismissed the allegations and gave Kejriwal a clean chit. “This is a big blow to the Congress leadership, including Rahul Gandhi. Nonetheless, it is sad that he is repeating the same thing. That is why I say they have not learned from what they have seen and experienced,” Vijayan added.Vijayan also accused the Congress of working with bjp At the national and state levels. “The Congress and the UDF have become a faction that has no hesitation in aligning itself with the BJP,” he claimed, according to Press Trust, adding that these parties often opposed the LDF in a similar manner.Regarding ethnic politics, the chief minister said, “We must be able to take a strong stand against it. This is the peculiarity of the stand we take. We will not compromise with any ethnic force. We are against all communalism.” He distinguished between religious organizations and communal forces and stated: “Religious organizations and communalism are two different things. It is the communal forces that should be opposed.”

Vijayan dismissed the opposition’s allegations of gold loss at Sabarimala, saying the Kerala High Court was monitoring the investigation and “no one involved in the matter will be spared”. He added that the UDF was raising the issue only to influence voters ahead of the April 9 assembly polls.The chief minister also accused the Center of taking a hostile stance against Kerala on various issues and termed BJP state president Rajiv Chandrasekhar’s remarks about the central government aiding the state as “nonsense”. He highlighted reforms in higher education aimed at raising institutional standards to international levels.
