The West Bengal Assembly polls will be held in two phases on April 23 and April 29, with counting on May 4.The move is seen as an effort to ensure administrative neutrality during the elections, especially after the TMC repeatedly criticized the Election Commission over the ongoing special summary revision exercise in the state.
