Its militants targeted advancing troops in the Sonda area with remote-controlled improvised explosive devices and then carried out an ambush, allegedly killing several people, the statement said. The group also confirmed the death of one militant during the clashes.Weeks ago, Baloch militants opened fire on a patrol boat in the Arabian Sea near the Iranian border, killing three Pakistani coast guard personnel in what security officials said was the first such attack on a maritime security vessel.
