Austin shelter-in-place: Texas police search for active shooter after 9 random shootings

Austin has issued a shelter-in-place order and police are searching for an alleged gunman who opened fire at nine locations, injuring several people.

“Due to an ongoing law enforcement incident, shelters have been established along these 4 major roadways: South Slaughter Ln, East McKinney Falls Pkwy, North Ben White Blvd., West Escarpment Blvd.. Effective until further notice,” the alert states.
