Hunter Metcalf, wearing a black and gold crown, was first to receive his diploma. He later returned to the stage at a memorial high school graduation ceremony at the United Communications Center in Frisco, Texas, to receive the diplomas of his late sibling, WFAA reported.
Austin’s name was reportedly included in memorial high school graduation plans along with Hunter’s.
Hunter is an 18-year-old high school student who was born two minutes after his brother Austin. He graduated magna cum laude with a weighted GPA of 4.0 or above, according to a program seen by the New York Post.
The trial of Carmelo Anthony
According to Collin County court records, Anthony’s trial is set to begin on Monday, June 1, CBS News reported. Anthony faces a first-degree murder charge.

If convicted, he could face 5 to 99 years in prison or prison life. In the Texas criminal justice system, 17-year-olds are considered adults.
Anthony is accused of fatally stabbing 17-year-old Metcalf during a rain delay at a high school track meet. Before the stabbing at Frisco Memorial High School, Metcalf reportedly asked Anthony, who is black, to leave the event because he did not attend that school. Matt Kraft is white.
