New Delhi: The Indian Army foiled an infiltration operation along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir and shot dead a terrorist.The Army engaged the target at around 4pm and search operations are underway.The White Knight Corps of the Indian Army said: “At around 4 pm today, after continuous surveillance, suspicious activities were detected in the general area of Poonch Krishna Ghati district along the Line of Control at a distance of about 300 meters within its own territory. The vigilance troops of the White Knight Corps responded quickly and thwarted the infiltration attempt and ensured that there was no breach of the Line of Control. One intruder has been neutralized. Own troops continue to control the area and maintain high combat readiness throughout the area.” Published on X
