Army expands Pinaka fleet with 7th Regiment

NEW DELHI: With security threats on the western and northern borders increasing, especially after last year’s clashes with Pakistan, indian army It is understood that another Pinaka regiment has been added and preparations are being made to recruit another regiment before the end of the year.

Developed by DRDO, Pinaka is India’s premier indigenous multiple rocket launcher. While early versions had a range of 40 kilometers, newer versions such as guided pinacs and long-range guided rockets have extended the range to 120 kilometers, making the system a key asset for deep strike operations.
