Meanwhile, Memphis’ Action News 7 confirmed that Shiesty’s father, a former rapper who goes by the stage name “Mob Boss,” was arrested in Cordova, Shelby County, tennessee.

The North Texas Attorney General’s Office disclosed details of the case in a news release. At a news conference, Texas U.S. Attorney Ryan Raybould elaborated on the incident, charging Shesti and his associates with kidnapping and robbery.
He said Shiesty went to Gucci Mane’s Dallas studio to negotiate a contract agreement with Mane’s production company, 1017 Records. Shiesty is signed to the brand through at least 2021. They allegedly staged an “armed takeover” at the studio, resulting in injuries to many of Mane’s colleagues. Then they brought cash, jewelry, Rolex watches, and other valuables kept in the studio.
“Instead of discussing business in a civil manner, the defendants resorted to violence and intimidation to achieve their purported business goals,” attorney Ryan Raybould said. “For anyone considering using violence and intimidation as a business practice, I am here to tell you that this will be vigorously investigated and prosecuted by the Northern District of Texas.”
