‘Animated movie needed’: Netizens react as Corgi leads seven stolen dogs on 17km escape in miraculous survival story

Reunion after several days of long journey

Local rescuers later confirmed that the dogs belonged to the same village and often roamed together. By March 19, all seven cats went home and were reunited with their owners.

Online posts said the dogs ignored attempts by strangers to guide them and remained focused on their route. They reportedly suffered only minor injuries.

Authorities are said to be using video evidence to investigate the theft.

The story sparked a wave of emotional and humorous reactions online.

Many were shocked at the organization’s ability to coordinate. “The corgis led them home…the dogs formed a protective formation around the German shepherds…it took them two days to get home. I’m going to cry,” one post read.
