He assured that the government would provide all resources to achieve this goal.Shah said the terror ecosystem fostered by anti-national elements in J&K has been almost weakened due to the concerted efforts of the Narendra Modi government. He said de-radicalization efforts had achieved significant success and directed more initiatives to promote youth participation. The meeting also discussed innovative measures to further strengthen the watertight security cordon.This is the second security review meeting chaired by the federal home minister in a month. On January 8, he chaired a high-level review meeting on the safety situation of Johnson & Johnson in Delhi.Earlier in the day, while addressing BSF personnel at the border post in sensitive Hira Nagar district, the Home Minister said that while the courage, vigilance and dedication of personnel remain crucial, many of the emerging challenges are now technology-driven. “The government will invest heavily in modernizing the entire border security system. This modernization will provide Border Security Force personnel with better border infrastructure and advanced equipment, allowing them to perform their duties more effectively,” he said.Praising the Border Force, Shah said that whenever the country’s borders face the threat of intrusion or infiltration, the Border Force stands tall like an impenetrable wall and is steadfast in its commitment to safeguard the country. “The bravery and valor displayed by the BSF during Operation Sindoor adds a golden chapter to its six-year history,” he added.The Home Minister commended BSF Sub-Inspector Mohammed Imteyaz and Constable Deepak Chingakham for their sacrifice in Pakistani firing during Operation Sindoor.The minister said the Indian government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is fully committed to the welfare of security personnel and announced the upcoming launch of special welfare schemes for BSF personnel. He also appreciated the significant contribution of BSF women personnel to border security. Later, he had lunch with the soldiers.
