110,000 devotees flock to Kedarnath in three days; temple leaders praise Uttarakhand govt for seamless pilgrim arrangements

Darshan.Kedarnath Temple Committee Chairman Rajkumar Tiwari said it has been three days since the Kedarnath Temple was opened. At the same time, the portal of Bhairavanath Temple was also opened. He informed that around 1,10,000 devotees have received darshan of Lord Kedarnath. Currently, arrangements for Kedarnath are going on smoothly and every devotee is getting the opportunity to have darshan. He also condemned the attempts by some vandals to defame the Yasukuni Shrine.Umesh Chandra Posti, senior member of Kedarnath Sabha, said that under the leadership of BKTC and the district administration, around 1.10 lakh devotees have visited the temple so far. He added that some people spread false and misleading information through social media. He urged devotees at home and abroad to visit the Kedarnath Temple without any worries and ensured that the temple administration and district authorities were working around the clock to make arrangements. He stressed that there was no case of mismanagement in Kedarnath and a token system was introduced to ensure faster darshan.Kedarnath Sabha member Sanjay Tiwari welcomed all devotees and pointed out that the door of Baba Bhairavnath has also been opened. He said that the government, administration, Kedarnath Sabha and local residents have made adequate arrangements for accommodation, darshan and food for the pilgrims. He also refuted the misleading information being circulated on social media and said the best arrangements had been made considering the geographical conditions of Kedarnath.
